"My name is Ketaki and I know Shweta since 8 months now. Let start with how I connected with her, We came to India last year and I was looking for something for my 6 year old son to settle down in Indian academic culture. While browsing I saw a unique video about calendar teaching technique by Shweta and I was really attracted to it. I immediately created home calendar for my son and taught my son who was struggling to understand “ today” concept. And guess what, it really worked well for us. I was more attracted to watch her videos and soon I subscribed rise and shine channel to understand other concepts. Meanwhile, I also watched Josh talk conducted by Shweta and I was extremely impressed how she worked on her son and his academics Since I was out of India academics was never given much importance but through Shweta I got to know academics plays a very big part in sitting tolerance, understanding and over all cognition I immediately enrolled my son in rise and shine where Shweta takes one on one session. Today my son not only understands “ Today” concept but also understands what his daily schedule is and he speaks about it before going to bed every night. Calendar is just an example but there are many unique ways she explains to parents like us in which kids learn in better and faster way! Shweta is empowerment not only to the special kids but also to the moms like us. I know many kids and moms including me whom are empowered by her and now they are connected with rise and shine as special educator.
